Strawberry Picking!

Last weekend, we decided on a whim to go strawberry picking. It’s strawberry season here in the South and those berries just seem to taste better when you pick them yourself!

We headed on over to Washington Farms in Loganville, for some strawberry pickin’ fun.   Even though we live way out in the suburbs, it still took us about 40 minutes to get to the farm. But, I will say… the drive was well worth it.  When we arrived, we each got a 1 gallon bucket to collect our berries in (that’s a whole lot of strawberries, y’all).

It was so much fun wandering up and down our row of strawberry plants, just plucking away at all of the red, ripe berries… and also having  a taste or two… or ten… yum!

Don’t they look delicious?
